The year was 1947. The start of the Cold War between the two national super powers at the time, America and Russia. It was the indirect fighting of these two enemies that was killing off thousands of people in the Middle East. All for the greedy want of oil and more power. It also caused Alfred F. Jones and Ivan Braginski to be sneaky and aim to get the trust and loyalty of Dayland aka Charlotte Lebten. Dayland is a country with close ties to the Middle East and had an ample supple of oil at all times. She was also partly in control of how much oil is sold and to whom it's sold. Now Dayland being so close to America gave Alfred the advantage
